Recruit Amy

Operator quests were added in v25.26.97. The quest revisions in v27.56.86 will make the quests easier. You will need the following items:

• First Class Fish Sausage x1
• Old Journal 2 x35, Great Fish Meat x30, Spider Meat x5, Brawn x5, Wolf Meat x5, and Comodo Meat x5.
• Great Caborum x1 (Daria's Route Only)
• Old Journal 3 x35, Great Cabosse x30, Honey x20, Clear Rum x20, and Beet x20.
• Dragon Heart x5 or Growth Stone x2 (Moon Stone x3 in v27.56.86) or Elemental Jewel x2 (Shiny Crystal x500 in v27.56.86)
• High Quality Wood x1,000

This guide has been updated according to American game client (v26.60.82).

Synopsis :

In order to prepare Illier against the Black Scorpion Army of Targa, Amy convinces you to rob some capybaras of their papers to make an operation map. You ask a rich girl to cover for stolen supplies, so Amy can complete her map. Once completed, the other soldiers have to join in the training by the brutal drill instructor. They blame you for it. You feed the company commander to learn that Amy's plan once failed to a suicide attack because she was over-eager. The commander took the blame for the failure back then.

Amy pushes the responsibilities of her soldiers to kill monsters onto you, then asks you to collect reference manuals for her. Even though you are not part of Illier Army, you tag along to uncover a spy from Targa. The spy however tries to blow himself up with an otite bomb. A complaining soldier called Sergeant Leyen runs away with the bomb and dies. Feeling responsibility for another death, she takes her grief out on you.

Amy wants to make up to the bereaved family, so you have to do the dirty work for her instead. You recover Armonium from the Abyss, hire some Pegadilla mercenaries to protect them, and give them more wood than they really know what to do with. Leyen's father says his son died proudly for his country and asks the gift to be used to support an orphanage instead. Amy wants more practical experience, so she secretly joins you.

Prerequisites: Completed The Symphonia Episode 1 scenario.

1. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3).
2. Collecy Good Quality Paper of Capybara (quest item) x150 by killing Capybara (33%), Lazy Capybara (50%), or Violent Capybara (50%) in Capybara Plantation.
3. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3) to give the above items.
4. Talk to SFC Ichel in Bethel (D3).
• Choose 1 NPC to determine the route: Leona, Lynn, or Daria.
• Once chosen, you may not change the route.

Prerequisites: Completed The Blonde Witch of Shausen (1) quest (see above) by choosing Leona.
Reward: Expert G EXP Card x10.

1. Talk to Leona in Bethel (D2).
2. Collect Bernier Seal (quest item) x3 by killing Sloth (2%) or Torchere (2%) in Lucifer Castle Hall of Oblivion.
3. Talk to Leona in Bethel (D2) to give the above items.
4. Talk to SFC Ichel in Bethel (D3) for reward.

Prerequisites: Completed The Blonde Witch of Shausen (1) quest (see above) by choosing Lynn.
Reward: Expert G EXP Card x10.

1. Talk to Lynn in Bethel (D2).
2. Kill Garim x1 in Nest of Garim (Rank 4) mission.
• This mission requires at least 2 players to start.
• To solo this mission with a starter, fully clear one side first, return to barracks, re-enter mission, and clear the other side.
3. Talk to Lynn in Bethel (D2).
4. Talk to SFC Ichel in Bethel (D3) for reward.

[135] [Operator] The Armaments of the Court Phablewchenque Family
Prerequisites: Completed The Blonde Witch of Shausen (1) quest (see above) by choosing Daria.
Reward: Expert G EXP Card x10.

1. Talk to Daria in Viron (G7).
2. Collect Great Caborum x1. 
• The recipe requires Old Journal 3 x35. Trade with Diary Analyst in Abertal.
• The ingredients are Great Cabosse x30, Honey x20, Clear Rum x20, and Beet x20.
• Event version of the item is also accepted.
3. Talk to Daria in Viron (G7) to give the above item.
4. Talk to SFC Ichel in Bethel (D3) for reward.

Prerequisites: Completed A Legacy of Duke Bernier, The Grand Granary of the Marquis Herbert Family, or The Armaments of the Court Phablewchenque Family quest (see above).

1. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3).
2. Talk to Cpl Eris in Bethel (J4) to start a combat mission ("The Blonde Witch of Shausen", 10 minutes).
• Defeat all the soldiers.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Commander Voltima in Bethel (D3).
2. Collect First Class Fish Sausage x1.
• The recipe requires Old Journal 2 x35. Trade with Diary Analyst in Abertal.
• The ingredients are Great Fish Meat x30, Spider Meat x5, Brawn x5, Wolf Meat x5, and Comodo Meat x5.
• You can get Great Fish Meat by using mixture in your personal farm.
• Event version of the item is also accepted.
3. Talk to Commander Voltima in Bethel (D3) to give the above item and start a non-combat mission ("Black Scorpion").
4. Talk to Commander Voltima in Bethel (D3).

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.
Reward: (a) Expert G EXP Card x10; (b) Training Card G x10.

2. Kill Great Plain Bison x150, Great Plain Hornet x150, and Great Plain Bear x150 in Bethel Great Plain.
3. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3) for reward (a).
4. Talk to Commander Voltima in Bethel (D3).
5. Collect Field Journal 1492, Field Journal 1514, and Field Journal 1533 (virtual items) by talking to SFC Tavarkov (C4), Sgt Antonio (G4), and Sgt Anton (F11) in Bethel.
• Virtual items do not appear in your inventory. They are only indicated in the quest logs.
6. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3) for reward (b).
7. Talk to Illier Soldier in Bethel (J4).
8. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3).

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Trigger a combat mission ("Spy", 10 minutes) in Bethel Great Plain (G6).
• Defeat Tempkin.
• Some Illier Soldiers will help you.
• Tip: As the soldiers die, you will be inflicted with Poison, Stun, or Confusion status.
• Tip: Use a tank (Sirius) and safely attack him with other characters.
2. Trigger a quest dialogue in Bedel Great Plain (G6).
3. Trigger a non-combat mission ("Deja Vu") in Bedel Great Plain (G7).

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3).
2. Talk to Commander Voltima in Bethel (D3).
3. Talk to Amy in Bethel City (D3) to start a combat mission ("Pain", 10 minutes).
• Defeat Amy.
• Tip: Avoid the area bombardment, denoted by a red circle and loading bar.
• Tip: As Amy loses HP, the area bombardments become more concentrated. Kill her as fast as possible.
• Tip: Amy can summon Illier Soldiers and Medics to help her.
• Tip: Spread out your characters so that even if you fail to avoid the bombardment, someone remains alive. Use Soul Crystal to revive quickly.

Reward: (a) White Gold Bar x3, Expert G EXP Card x10, Enhanced Enchantment Tranquilizer x5; (b) Amy Character Card.

1. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3).
2. Kill Furious Abyss x1 in Dominator of Rage mission.
• In v27.56.86, you can spend 5,000 reputation points to enter a quest mission instead.
3. Talk to Calyce in Pegadilla via Port of Coimbra (B9) to give her any one of the following items:
• Dragon Heart x5 - Roulette reward in Rank 3-4 missions.
• Growth Stone x2 (100,000 Feso each).
• In v27.56.86, this will become 3 Moon Stones instead.
• Elemental Jewel x2 (10,000,000 Vis each).
• In v27.56.86, this will become 500 Shiny Crystals instead.
4. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3) to give her High Quality Wood x1,000 and receive reward (a).
• HQ Wood drops in Viron forests, Porto Bello Desolate Cliff, Ustiur Jungle Zone 1, Cathari Falls, etc.
• You can also buy them from Textile Merchant in Port of Coimbra (J5) for 47,700 Vis each.
5. Talk to Rafien in Bethel (G11).
6. Talk to Amy in Bethel (D3) for reward (b).
