Recruit Evil

This quest was added in v25.04.52 . You will need the following items:

• Otite Piece x100
• Pure Otite x20
• Wind Stone x100
• Fire Stone x100
• Magical Stone x100
• Story Book - Evil & Kevin x30

This guide has been updated according to American game client (v26.60.82).

Synopsis :

Dr. Torsche wanted to study Evil to enhance Catherine. In Truman's lab, Evil's emergency power system activated, but he was attacked by the resident robots. Beatrice came and wanted to destroy Evil, who pushed you out of harm's way.

Mary overheard what happened and told the Catherine sisters. When you chased after them, you found Mary, who was blocked by an otite barrier. By applying an otite paste developed by Dr. Torsche, you bypass the barrier and found the sisters lost in Truman's maze. In Truman's lab, Evil ran out of energy and Beatrice backed off.

After angering the sisters with his callous comments, Dr. Torsche wanted you to acquire parts to repair Evil. Dr. Torsche then made a circuit chip to reset Evil. You revived Evil successfully, but his memories were lost.

You brought Evil to Dr. Torsche, but Catherine was upset that Evil lost his memories. After gathering Evil's diaries, Veronif made an experimental Time Piece. At the girls' insistence, Dr. Torsche inserted the Time Piece into Evil's heart. Evil fainted from the pain...

When Evil recovered, he said it was a mistake to revive him as Truman had control over him. Having shared memories of Kevin, Catherine talked Evil around. Fearing what Evil could do, Dr. Torsche wanted you to take him since you worked with Violacea.

Evil revealed that L became stronger with the help of Marquis Hernandez. The Queen of Vespanola was mentioned as well. L was planning for revenge. You suspected that Beatrice tried to destroy Evil to keep the marquis' role a secret.

[120] A Frozen Doll: A Broken Doll
Prerequisites: Completed Leader of New Era Episode 2 scenario.

1. Trigger quest mail by moving to any town.
2. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6).
3. Talk to Evil in Truman's Secret Lab (F9/G9).
• You can go there directly from Clock Tower Basement Lobby. Use the 3rd option of the Elevator Controller: "Pull the lever of [71A3]."
4. Trigger a quest dialogue in Clock Tower Basement Lobby (F4).
5. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6).

[120] A Frozen Doll: Fury of Catherine
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.
Reward: Story Book - Evil & Kevin x1.

1. Talk to Mary in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (B3).
2. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6) to receive reward.

[120] A Frozen Doll: An Otite Barrier
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.
Reward: Story Book - Evil & Kevin x1.

1. Trigger a quest dialogue in Clock Tower Basement Lobby (F4).
2. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6).
3. Collect the following items:
• Otite Piece x100 - dropped by monsters in Dr. Torsche's Mansion maps.
• Pure Otite x20 - acquired from repeated Cursed Undead Hunt quest from Gloomy Old Man in Los Toldos.
• Note: Each entry into Tierra de los Muertos costs 100 Shiny Crystals. Each Cursed Undead Hunt quest yields Pure Otite x1-5.
4. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6) to give the above items.
5. Collect Wind Stone x100, Fire Stone x100, and Magical Stone x100.
• Fire/Wind/Magical Stones can be created by the alchemist in City of Auch by giving her the requested materials.
• Alternatively, they can be acquired randomly via Alchemy Grade 2-8.
• You can also buy them for 138,000 Vis from Clique Battle Support Merchant in Clique Battle Barracks.
6. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6) to give the above items and receive reward.

[120] A Frozen Doll: Rediscovery of the Sisters
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Trigger a quest dialogue in the 1st room of Truman's Secret Workshop B1F.
• Kill Shining Machina of Truman, activate the Elevator Actuator, and move into the elevator spot.

[120] A Frozen Doll: Power Circuit Deactivated
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.
Reward: Story Book - Evil & Kevin x3.

1. Talk to Evil in Truman's Secret Lab (F9/G9).
2. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6).
3. Collect Left Arm of Evil (quest item) x1 by killing Candler of Truman (1%) in Truman's Secret Workshop B1F or B2F.
• Note: You must collect the body parts in sequence. For example, if you have not collected the left arm, you won't be able to get any of the other parts.
4. Collect Right Hand of Evil (quest item) x1 by killing Steamer of Truman (1%) in Truman's Secret Workshop B1F or B2F.
5. Collect Left Leg of Evil (quest item) x1 by killing Tendercore of Truman (1%) in Truman's Secret Workshop B1F or B2F.
6. Collect Right Foot of Evil (quest item) x1 by killing Candler of Truman (1%) in Truman's Secret Workshop B1F or B2F.
7. Collect Heart of Evil (quest item) x1 by killing Steamer of Truman (1%) in Truman's Secret Workshop B1F or B2F.
8. Collect Pelvis of Evil (quest item) x1 by killing Shining Machina of Truman (10%) in Truman's Secret Workshop B1F or B2F.
9. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6) to give him the above items.

[120] A Frozen Doll: Resurrection, Evil Machina
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Evil in Truman's Secret Lab (F9/G9).
2. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6).
3. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6).
4. Collect and use Story Book - Evil & Kevin x30 (total).
• The quests so far should give you 12 of them. You can get the rest by killing monsters in Truman's Secret Workshop B1F or B2F.
5. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6) again.

[120] A Frozen Doll: Heart of Passion
Reward: Evil Character Card.

1. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6).
2. Talk to Dr. Torsche in Dr. Torsche's Laboratory (C6) again on the next day to receive reward.
3. Talk to Evil in Truman's Secret Lab (F9/G9).
