Recruit Sariel

Recruit Sariel quests were added in v25.44.07. You will need the following items:

• Caborum x1: Old Journal 3 x25, Cabosse x100, Honey x20, Clear Rum x20, Beet x20.
• Essence of Corruption x20
• Magical Amethyst x10
• High Quality Suede x10

This guide has been updated according to American game client (v26.60.82).

Synopsis :

Vincent confronted Sariel in Kielce port as the latter was supposed to be protecting the Pope. Sariel is a sneaky person whose existence is a secret, often melting into the surrounding. Vincent marked Sariel with some stinky resin. After fighting Sariel, Vincent accused him of being in Kielce for its departed souls.

Sariel, the last son of Weasley family, tried to save Jurgen with his "rod of love", but the latter escaped. So you got Sariel drunk instead. He mistook Barrol for a pig somehow.
You tracked Sariel to Bristia Scar and disrupted his attempt to absorb the departed souls. Vincent revealed that Sariel changed after returning from somewhere with his brother.

Sariel accused Van of being the sole survivor who murdered his comrades. Navas appeared and put a stop to his plan to punish the "son of darkness". You proved yourself to him by killing King of Greed, then he got himself arrested by Armonia soldiers soon after.

Caisse told you that the Pope was murdered. As part of the intelligence agency, Sariel was suspect of the crime. The crime scene was allegedly fabricated. Sariel wrote an encoded letter. The reply letter revealed that the punishers were taking action, so Sariel wanted to flee from her wrath by staying in your family.

[120] Angel of Death: Priest Sariel
Prerequisites: Completed Armonia Episode 1: The Memorial Ceremony quest.
Reward: Veteran G EXP Card x5, White Gold Bar x3.

1. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10). Vincent must be in the team.
2. Trigger a quest dialogue in Kielce (C9).
3. Trigger a quest dialogue in Kielce (D8).
4. Collect Stinky Golden Honeycomb Resin (quest item) x100 by killing Golden Honeycombs in Bahama Prophet's Forest.
5. Talk to Vincent in Viron (E8) to give him the quest items.

[120] Angel of Death: Search for Sariel!
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Artisan Victor in Kielce (D5).
2. Trigger a combat mission ("A Man Called the Angel of Death", 30 minutes) in Kielce (D6).
• Defeat Sariel. Vincent will help you, but he must be kept alive.
• Tip: Sariel uses Lethargy skill which hits an area in front of him, so spread out your characters.
3. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10).
4. Talk to Vincent in Viron (E8).
5. Talk to Second Lt. Heinz in Kielce (C9).
6. Talk to Fur Merchant Gregory in Kielce (K7).
7. Trigger a quest dialogue in Kielce (J6).
8. Trigger a combat mission ("His Smile", 30 minutes) in Kielce Night (I7).
• Defeat Jurgen and his follower.
• Sariel will help you, but he must remain alive.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.
Reward: Veteran G EXP Card x6, White Gold Bar x2.

1. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10).
2. Collect Caborum x1.
• Trade Old Journal 3 x25 for Recipe - Caborum with Diary Analyst in Abertal.
• The required ingredients are Cabosse x100, Honey x20, Clear Rum x20, and Beet x20.
• Clear Rum is dropped by monsters in Errac Land of Day/Night and Reboldoeux Culverts. Other ingredients can be acquired in your personal farm.
3. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10) to give him the above item and receive reward.
4. Trigger a non-combat mission ("The End of the Drunkard") in Kielce (B4).
5. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10).
6. Talk to Vincent in Viron (E8).
7. Trigger a combat mission ("His Aim", 30 minutes) in Bristia Scar (D6).
• Kill all the ghosts to charge up Sariel's gauge bar.
• Note: You must not kill Sariel, even if he attacks you.
8. Talk to Vincent in Viron (E8).

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Trigger a quest dialogue in Bristia Scar (E8).
2. Kill Ghosts of Officer x200, Ghosts of Maiden x200, and Ghost of Soldier x200 in Bristia Scar.
3. Trigger a quest dialogue in Bristia Scar (E8).
4. Collect Essence of Corruption x20.
5. Trigger a quest dialogue in Bristia Scar (E8) to consume the above items.
6. Trigger a combat mission ("The Angel of Death and the Mage of Darkness", 30 minutes) in Bristia Scar (F6).
• Defeat Navas.
• Sariel will fight with you, but he must remain alive.
7. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10).
8. Kill King of Greed x1 in Bahama Underground Cave 1F.
9. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10).

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above and Armonia Episode 1: Trace of Van quest.
Reward: Veteran G EXP Card x5, White Gold Bar x2.

1. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10).
2. Trigger a quest dialogue in Kielce (A6).
3. Talk to Kess (aka Caisse) in Bristia Government General. You can enter the room by talking to New Aide Lieut. Albert in Kielce (F2).
4. Collect Magical Amethyst x10, which is dropped by Vespanola (0.1%) in Tierra Putrefacta, Interna de Bahia, Corazon de Bahia, and Cabeza de Bahia.
5. Talk to Kess (aka Caisse) in Bristia Government General to give him the above items and receive reward.
6. Trigger a combat mission ("Escape, Sariel", 30 minutes) in Kielce Laboratory (F4).
• Defeat all the Armonia Crusaders.
• Sariel must remain alive to clear the mission.

Reward: Sariel Character Card, Veteran G EXP Card x15, White Gold Bar x5.

1. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10).
2. Collect High Quality Suede x10.
• You can trade Elviot's Leather x10 to Rescue Knight Material Administrator in Katovic Snowfield (I6) for High Quality Suede x1.
• Elviot's Leather is dropped by Elviot in Frozen Plain and Ice Wizard's Snowfield.
3. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10) to give him the above items.
4. Collect Black Ink (quest item) x300 by killing Resistance Ferrell (50%), Resistance Buchholz (50%), or Resistance Keros (50%) in Shelter of Resistance.
5. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10) to give him the above items.
6. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10) again on the next day.
7. Trigger a quest dialogue in Kielce Laboratory (F4) to acquire Urgent: Justice (quest item).
8. Talk to Sariel in Kielce (C10) to give the above quest item and receive reward.

Note: This completes the recruitment quest and is followed by Recruit Judith quests.
