Recruit Lynn quests were added in v24.85.71. You will need the following items:

You must also have created the following characters, depending on which route you have chosen.

Synopsis :

After being injured by Pharrel, Lynn's wound does not heal properly due to the energy of Montoro in Lucifer Castle. You bring her to Elisa for treatment. After taking Elisa's medicine, Lynn gets better but wants to eat a proper Illier meal.

Lynn feels something is missing in those meals, and asks about any chef from Illier. You bring Panfilo to meet her. Lynn claims Panfilo once poisoned L, but he insists it was just a new recipe. He cooks a dish of undead fish fillet (with spit in it), yet Lynn enjoys eating it.

Lynn wants to repair her broken family sword which was forged by Valeron. It seems only Claude or Brianne (aka Bryan) can repair it. Her sword used to be silver, but when L embraced the darkness out of rage and loneliness, Lynn dyed it black to follow her master.

Lynn begs L to stop her course, but L orders her to kill you. Lynn refuses to stand by watching her take a wrong path. L orders Pharrel to kill everyone, but you defeat him. Beatrice appears and attacks L, but Lynn blocks the attack instead. L walks off as Lynn collapses, saying it is the duty of a knight to sacrifice her life to protect her master.

You bring Lynn to Elisa for treatment again. Adriana says she cannot watch her friend's sister dies, and Lynn reveals she has not met her sister in 10 years. Adriana tells her to correct her master's path as the duty of a knight.

Claude tells Lynn to forcefully bring L over. Lynn challenges you to a fight for insulting L. After losing, Lynn realizes that protecting L means more than just protecting her from assassins sent by Vespanola.

Panfilo apologizes for putting laxative in the dish, and got thrashed by Lynn. He then suggests Lynn to beat monsters in Infinito Challenge until she releases her stress. Since Panfilo can clear up to Round 20, Lynn wants to clear Round 31 alone, asking you to clear the rounds before it. She fails, and gets angry when Panfilo tries to console her.

Daria says that when she first enlisted in Illier army, L was full of nothing but revenge. She asks Lynn why she allows L to become like that. Daria gets angry and leaves, saying that it was a shame that she respected Lynn so much that she decided to be a soldier too. Since you agrees with Daria, Lynn challenges you to a duel. After losing, Lynn realizes that since L trusts nobody, she has been relying on herself as well. She should have helped L, instead of letting her go her way by herself.

Lynn joins your family, until L returns to find herself.

Prerequisites: Completed Leader of New Era Episode 1 scenario.

1. Trigger quest mail by moving to any town.
   
2. Talk to Lyn in Lucifer Castle Reception Hall of Oblivion (C9).
   
3. Talk to Elisa in Castilla Base 1 (H9).
   
4. Collect the following quest items by killing various monsters.
   
   • Fordoi Tail (quest item) x500 - Kill Fordoi (drop 1/2) in Red Sunset Forest, Blood Fog Forest, or Crow Forest.
     
   • Reaper Garas Skin (quest item) x500 - Kill Reaper Garas (drop 1/2) in Red Sunset Forest, Blood Fog Forest, or Crow Forest.
     
   • Leather Pouch of Bow Garas (quest item) x500 - Kill Bow Garas (drop 1/2) in Crow Forest.
     
5. Talk to Elisa in Castilla Base 1 (H9) to give the above items.
   
6. Collect the following items from Ustiur Farm.
   
   • Great Cabbage x15
     
   • Giant Cockatrice Egg x30
     
   • Cabosse x100
     
7. Talk to Elisa in Castilla Base 1 (H9) to give the above items.
   
8. Collect the following quest items.
   
   • Frogfish Gall (quest item) x1 - Kill Mutated Frogfish in Lucifer Castle Basement Laboratory mission (normal mode).
     
   • Garim Lung (quest item) x1 - Kill Garim in Garim's Nest mission.
     
     • The mission guide linked above is outdated, but the raid flow is basically still the same.
       
     • Tip: When doing this mission with a weak family (e.g. alternate account), you can use the re-enter mission function from barracks to clear both sides alone.
       
   • Note: Alternatively, you can give 5 Growth Stones to Elisa instead.
     
9. Talk to Elisa in Castilla Base 1 (H9) to give the above items and receive reward.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

[120] Dark Knight: Recovery
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Lynn in Lucifer Castle Reception Hall of Oblivion (C9).
   
2. Talk to Lynn in Lucifer Castle Reception Hall of Oblivion (C9) again on the next day.
   
   • You must choose either Claude or Brianne (aka Bryan) to continue the quest.

Sword of Herbert Route: Claude / Brianne

This route determines the color of the weapon costume you will eventually get at the end. Black/Silver Herbert Costume (30 days) starts its timer immediately once you receive it. Both grants ATK vs. Monsters +10% for 30 days.

1. Talk to Claude in Cite de Reboldoeux (D6).
   
2. Collect Cast Iron x200. They are commonly dropped by monsters in Viron forests.
   
3. Talk to Claude in Cite de Reboldoeux (D6) to give the above items.
   
4. Collect Piece of Moon Knight Sword (quest item) x1 by killing Moon Knight in Lucifer Castle Death Corridor mission.
   
   • Alternatively, you can give 5 Growth Stones to Claude instead.
     
5. Talk to Claude in Cite de Reboldoeux (D6) to give the above item.
   

[120] Dark Knight: Silvery Sword of Herbert
Prerequisites: Completed Recovery quest above by choosing Brianne (aka Bryan).

1. Talk to Brianne (aka Bryan) in Armonia Apostadero (D9).
   
2. Collect Composite Steel x3,000. They are commonly dropped by monsters in Viron forests.
   
3. Talk to Brianne (aka Bryan) in Armonia Apostadero (D9) to give the above items.
   
4. Collect Piece of Rhinoceur Shield (quest item) x1 by killing Rhinoceur in Lucifer Castle Death Corridor mission.
   
   • Alternatively, you can give 5 Growth Stones to Brianne (aka Bryan) instead.
     
5. Talk to Brianne (aka Bryan) in Armonia Apostadero (D9) to give her the above item.

3. Trigger a combat mission ("Pride of Dark Knight", 60 minutes) in Lucifer Castle Reception Hall of Oblivion (F3/G3).
   
   • Defeat Pharrel. Lynn will help you.

6. Talk to Elisa in Castilla Base 1 (H9) again on the next day.
   
7. Talk to Adriana in Castilla Base 1 (E9).
   
8. Talk to Lynn in Lucifer Castle Reception Hall of Oblivion (C9).
   
9. Talk to Lynn in Lucifer Castle Reception Hall of Oblivion (C9) again using Claude, Daria, or Panfilo (or Battle Cook Panfilo) as team leader.
   
   • The quest branches off into 3 routes at this point, based on which character you use to talk to Lynn.
     
   • You may not change the route once it has been chosen.
     
   • If you use Claude as team leader, this will start a combat mission ("Fury", 60 minutes).
     
     • Defeat Lynn.

   • Defeat Lynn.

   • Survive Lynn's attacks for 5 minutes.
     
   • Tip: Lynn will eventually buff herself to raise her ATK and ATK Rating. You can kite her, or use Protection Field skill.
