Kielce Night Combat
Return to Orpesia update introduced 2 missions - Kielce Night Combat and Kielce Back Alley.
Mission Information
Location: Kielce (F8)
Frequency: 1/day
Entry Cost: None
Participants: 1-12
Duration: 15 minutes
Update: This mission was deleted in v23.63.43.
This mission is mainly for collecting essences. There is no roulette reward. The mission will fail if all the soldiers are killed or if Bristia Military Police Captain is killed. But obviously your own characters are more important, so use the soldiers as meat shields if necessary.
The recommended team is a metal armor user (e.g. Grandies) + invisibility caster (e.g. Catherine INT, Wizard, Reckless Emilia) + support (e.g. Emilia). This setup gives you the option to switch between the 2 ways to survive the mission, but it is not necessary. You can just stick to using one option.
[Protection Field] skill increases DEF so your characters can survive the physical attacks, but it disables the ability to change weapons. Therefore, if you are using Catherine INT, bring Emilia as support so she can use [Protection Field] while Catherine uses [Activator] stance.
Lv.10 [Invisible Stalker] skill lasts for 40 seconds. Since the enemies cannot see invisible characters, this makes it safe to take on a big group of Thief Leaders. Skills are disabled, but you can still change weapons to use [Telekinesis] or [Activator] stances. Run away before the invisibility ends, and re-buff.
A. Mission Start
When you enter the mission, a zone notice will announce: Bristia Sentries are being attacked by thieves. Support and protect Bristia Sentries and bring public order. If the Sentry Captain is defeated, mission will fail. Buff up at the start point (L3). Use [Protection Field] on low defense characters. For high defense characters, you may want to use [Spiritual Shield] instead to resist status effects.
B. Kill Thief Mobs
There are 25 Bristia Army soldiers scattered at the sentry points indicated on the map. When a soldier is killed, a zone notice will announce: A Bristia Soldier is down. Enemy's spirit goes up. (Remaining 24/25) When this happens, the thieves and Thief Leaders will level up, which will increase their hit points, ATK/DEF Rating, and ATK/DEF. The thieves begin at Lv.125, and can level up to Lv.135 or possibly higher. See Thief Leader Ellog below for a higher-level sample.
Run to all the sentry points and kill any thief you find. All enemies in this mission cannot see invisible characters. They can inflict various statuses (e.g. Armor Crash, Mortal Wound, Poison). These thieves do not count towards the kill requirements for Kielce Favor daily quests.
C. Kill Thief Leaders
Once most of the thieves are dead, Thief Leaders will spawn soon with another mob of thieves. When the leaders appear, a zone notice will announce: [1-9] Thief Leader(s) appeared. Up to 9 Thief Leaders can spawn at the same time. They will then move to one of the sentry points and attack the Bristia Army soldiers. Any remaining thieves will move from their previous locations to the new spot.
Use [Protection Field] on your characters and kill the leaders. You may also use [Deep Sleep] skill to disable some of the thieves, while you take on the leaders. Each Thief Leader can drop 0-13 Essences of Purity, Corruption, or Balance. If there are more than 3 leaders in the same spot, you may want to use [Invisible Stalker] instead, then space-bar attack them.
Once all the Thief Leaders are dead, visit all the sentry points and kill the remaining thieves (if any). Then, wait for the next wave of Thief Leaders. Repeat until mission time runs out. If you take too long to kill them, the waves may add up, ending with a lot of thieves in one spot.

I would suggest J.D.+Wizard+Emilia team, cuz wiz can PF and use Telekinesis at the same time. With human Rod, total 33AR+, Falling Meteor can kill 1 hit K.O. the Thief Leader of any lvl and also Weathering 1 hit k.o other mobs, cuz their DEF is low + thouse skills have sort CD and you can always use refresh mind. Personally I never use invis or Cath (INT) or RE, cuz mobs have high res to at least one element so they cant take down all mobs with a single AoE. The only thing that bites in this mission is the Armor Crasher from melee Thief Leaders, cuz it doesnt matter what you wear, 1-2 hits and youre dead, so I skill them before they get too close.
