Side Quests: The Tomb of the Titan

The Tomb of the Titan (aka Tomb of Giant) side quests were added in v27.05.17. This guide is based on v27.40.06. See Patch Notes for changes (if any) after this version.

The quests require the following items:

• Ancient Rune - Ti x10
• Ancient Rune - Te x10
• Ancient Rune - An x10
• Ancient Rune - Ar x10
• Amethyst Piece x6

The quests require the following raid missions:

• Protection of Heaven's Altar (Rank 4)
• Occulta General's Room (Rank 4)
• Inside the Crater: Sekhmet (Rank 4)

The quests require killing monsters in the following maps:

• Bahama Prophet's Forest
• Tierra Putrefacta

Synopsis :

Selva received a scroll from Orden, who claimed it would grant her wish. Invierno identified some words: "Ferruccio, petrified titan, tomb of titan, archspell, purification". Selva went to Tierra Putrefacta. Orden offered to cure her arm if she would serve him. Selva refused, claiming Orden to be a deceiver like Montoro. You told Selva that Orden was a piece of the god of wind, who was sealed by a demigod in the past.

Leonora met the titans when she explored the continent with Ferruccio. Only the last titan can break the curse of petrification in Sedecram. Selva hoped the same spell could cure her arm and restored Edward's memories. You found a Time Piece, where Veronif opened. In the memory scene, Orden killed the titans because Kranus wanted them dead and Argus' desire to coexist with humans bothered Orden.

Leonora said that titan's magic was extremely powerful, such that each was able to deal Orden's five subordinates. But the titans were not intelligent enough to use it, yet humans might do so now. Ignoring Leonora's warning, Selva left for Sedecram again. Kranus' soul was sealed by Laila inside Brain of Argus. Orden filled Selva with his power to break the seal. Kranus' sword and body were sealed elsewhere, however. The titans once fought Abyss a long time ago. Argus wanted to follow God's will for titans to remain guardians, not rulers, making way for humans. Kranus was the only titan to oppose it.

Selva was under the curse of Argus, which could be broken only by killing Argus. Through a Time Piece, you saw Orden subduing Argus with the fire of Sekhmet who surrendered. You learnt that the legacy of the stars was the source of the spell that Orden's father created for humans.

You gathered the Traces of Fire from Sekhmet to weaken the hardness of Earth. After defeating him, Argus urged you to destroy the sword and body of Kranus. Orden showed up to taunt you again. After talking to Invierno, Selva realized that Argus sacrificed himself by taking in all the stone gas into his body to protect the humans. As seen in another Time Piece, Argus knew that the titans were doomed and only he could stop the power of Earth from seizing the world. He accepted his fate, and passed his will to the last hope—humans.

Prerequisites: Completed Resurrection of Orden scenario.

1. Trigger quest mail by moving to any town.
2. Trigger a dialogue in Tierra Putrefacta (C4) to receive Old Scroll (quest item).
3. Talk to Invierno in Frozen Plain (D7) to give Old Scroll (quest item).
4. Collect Ancient Rune - Ti, Te, Ar, and An x10 each.
5. Talk to Invierno in Frozen Plain (D7) to give the above items and receive Deciphered Old Scroll (quest item).
6. Talk to Mysterious Man in Pradera de Ceniza (J7) to give Deciphered Old Scroll (quest item).
7. Trigger a combat mission ("The Archspell", 30 minutes) in Interna de Gigante (H11).
• Defeat all the monsters—Demonic Gluttony, Demonic Vordoi, and Demonic Fordoi.
• Selva will help you. Mission fails if Selva dies.
• Tip: You need 1 Amethyst Piece to use the Warp Gate (F4) to reach H11. After the mission, you will be moved back to H11. 
• Tip: You need 1 Amethyst Piece to use the Warp Gate (H11) to move to Corazon de Gigante. The Warp Gates in Corazon de Gigante do not require Amethyst Pieces.
8. Trigger a combat mission ("Orden and Selva", 30 minutes) in Cabeza de Gigante (F7).
• Defeat Labid.
• Selva will help you. Mission fails if Selva dies. Selva has the same statistics as herself in "The Archspell" combat mission above.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Mysterious Man in Pradera de Ceniza (J7).
2. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch via Bahama Swamp of Eternity (G6).
3. Trigger a dialogue in Tierra Putrefacta (F8) to receive Time Piece (quest item).
4. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6) to start a non-combat mission ("Argus the Last Titan") and give Time Piece (quest item).
5. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6) again.
6. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch.
7. Collect the following quest items:
• Snake Flower Scale (quest item) x100 - Kill Snake Flower (25%) in Bahama Prophet's Forest.
• Holy Divino Horn (quest item) x1 - Kill Divino (100%) in Heaven's Altar Protection (Rank 4) mission.
8. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch to give the above items.

[125][The Tomb of the Titan] A Sealed Titan
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Trigger a combat mission ("Desperation", 10 minutes) in Interna de Gigante (H11).
• Survive Selva's attacks for 3 minutes.
• Tip: Selva can inflict Electric Shock status (Movement Speed -50%, DEF 0).
2. Trigger a combat mission ("A Trap of Orden", 30 minutes) in Corazon de Gigante (F6/G6).
•  Defeat Labid.
• Selva will help you. Mission fails if Selva dies. Selva has the same statistics as herself in "The Archspell" combat mission above.
• Tip: As before, bring along 2 Amethyst Pieces for the Warp Gates.
3. Trigger a combat mission ("Kranus the Great Warlord", 30 minutes) in Cabeza de Gigante (F7).
• Kill Argus first to enable you to attack Brain of Argus.
• Reduce Brain of Argus to 50% HP. Three Bribantra will help Brain of Argus.
• Mission fails if Selva dies. Selva lies unconscious on the floor near the brain. Selva has the same statistics as herself in "The Archspell" combat mission above.
4. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch.
5. Collect Ancient Rune of Mufasa (quest item) x2 by killing Mufasa (100%) in Occulta General's Room (Rank 4) mission.
• Occulta General's Room mission resets in 3 days. Additional entries cost Shiny Crystals (20 x 3 x number of entries).
6. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch.
7. Collect Time Piece (quest item) x1 by killing Bacchanalia (5%) in Tierra Putrefacta.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6) to start a non-combat mission ("Seal of Argus") and give Time Piece (quest item).
2. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6) again.
3. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch.
4. Trigger a combat mission ("The Lava Queen", 30 minutes) in Inside the Crater (D7/D8).
• Defeat Sekhmet.
• Tip: Sekhmet can summon Stone Diablo and Lava Leaf.
5. Collect Trace of Fire (quest item) x2 by killing Sekhmet (100%) in Inside the Crater (Rank 4) mission.
• This mission resets in 3 days. Extra entries cost Shiny Crystals (20 x 3 x number of entries). 
6. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch to give the above items.

1. Trigger a combat mission ("Resealing", 30 minutes) in Cabeza de Gigante (F7).
• Defeat Argus to activate Brain of Argus and summon some Bribantra.
• Defeat Brain of Argus.
• Tip: As before, bring along 2 Amethyst Pieces for the Warp Gates.
• Tip: Click on any of the 5 Tombstones to receive Protection From Fire status for 10 minutes. This status reduces damage from Brain of Argus' Storming Attack skill.
2. Talk to Leonora in House of Witch.
3. Trigger a dialogue in Tierra Putrefacta (I6).

1. Trigger a dialogue in Tierra Putrefacta (I6) to receive Time Piece (quest item).
2. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6) to start a non-combat mission ("The Last Hope") and give Time Piece (quest item).
3. Talk to Veronif in Viron (F6) again for reward.
