Recruit Lu: Angry Bull

Recruit Lu (Angry Bull) quests were added in v30.38.26. This guide is based on USA client v30.63.23. See Patch Notes for later changes (if any).

You will need the following items:

• Cook Stone x30
• Great Cabbage x10
• Great Wheat Flour x10
• Soft Cotton Yarn x30
• High Quality Cloth x100
• Crafted Chain x1
• Thick Brawn x50
• Thick Wolf Meat x50
• Thick Comodo Meat x50

You will need to kill monsters in the following maps:

• Camellia Teia

You will need to do the following missions:

• Imperium Rex Recapture (High Master) mission
• Armonia (Extra) missions (e.g. Priest of Fear)
• Queentula Suppression (Extra) mission
• Nest of Garim (Extra) mission

Prerequisites: Completed Altria Episode 2 scenario.

1. Receive quest mail by moving to any town.
2. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
3. Talk to Koa in River of Fire (C5).
4. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
5. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8).
6. Collect Cook Stone x30, Great Cabbage x10, and Great Wheat Flour x10.
• Cook Stone can be acquired from Alchemy Table of Veronif (Grade 0-9) in Viron (F7).
• Great Cabbage and Great Wheat Flour can be acquired from Ustiur Farm mission.
7. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the above items.
8. Collect Laviosa Tenderloin (quest item) x200, Lavioso Rib (quest item) x200, and Fierce Arctic Bear Meat (quest item) x200 by killing Laviosa (100%), Lavioso (100%), and Fierce Arctic Bear (100%) in Camellia Teia.
9. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the above items.
10. Collect Extraordinary Powder (quest item) x4 by killing Frenzied Red Ghost of Titan (100%) or Frenzied Blue Ghost of Titan (100%) in Imperium Rex Recapture (High Master) mission.
• There is one such monster in each of the four side rooms.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give Extraordinary Powder (quest item) x4.
2. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
3. Start a quest dialogue in River of Fire (G10).
4. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
5. Talk to Adriana in Portus (F8).
6. Start a combat mission ("Encounter with Lu", 10 minutes) in Portus (I6).
• Reduce Lu (human) to 50% HP.
7. Talk to Adriana in Portus (F8).
8. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Marchetti in Frourio (E5).
2. Talk to Maria in Frourio (E5).
3. Collect the following items:
• Soft Cotton Yarn x30: This item drops in Viron forest maps.
• High Quality Cloth x100: You can buy this from Textile Merchant Taylor in Port of Coimbra (J5) for 42,300 vis each. It also drops in Viron forest maps.
• Crafted Chain x1: You can get Crafted Chain from Precious Metal Merchant Rolax in Port of Coimbra (J6) with Chain + Growth Stone (100,000 feso). You can get Chain from Sundry Merchant in Bounty Hunter's Guild with Token - Bounty Hunter's Guild x25.
4. Talk to Maria in Frourio (E5) to give the above items.
5. Collect the following quest items:
• Ancient Golden Spider Web (quest item) x100 by killing Ancient Golden Spider (100%) in Camellia Teia.
• Tail of Ogg Hae (quest item) x100 by killing Ogg Hae (100%) in Camellia Teia.
• Back Skin of Ogg Bae (quest item) x100 by killing Ogg Bae (100%) in Camellia Teia.
6. Talk to Maria in Frourio (E5) to give the above items.
7. Collect Fabric of Darkness (quest item) x5 by killing any of the following monsters:
• Abyss Sorrow (100%) in Priest of Fear mission
• Dullahan (100%) in Knight of Chaos mission
• Abyss Cray (100%) or Abyss Mady (100%) in Mage of Madness mission
• Appear of Hatred (100%), Hassen of Hatred (100%), Harz of Hatred (100%), or Ubeth of Hatred (100%) in Executor of Hatred mission
• Furious Abyss (100%) in Dominator of Rage mission
8. Talk to Maria in Frourio (E5) to give the above items.

[130][Angry Bull] Captured Karimas
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Start a combat mission ("Captured Karimas", 15 minutes) in Portus (I6).
• Defeat Okutum (demon) and Yuuzan (demon).
• Tip: Each of them gains a buff to absorb a certain type of damage (melee, shooting, or magic) until the other is dead. Okutum can inflict Shock status.
2. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
3. Talk to Marchetti in Frourio (E5).
4. Start a combat mission ("Rescue Maria", 20 minutes) in Portus (I6).
• Defeat Okutum (demon), Yuuzan (demon), and Lu (human).
• Tip: Each of them gains a buff to absorb a certain type of damage (melee, shooting, or magic) until the other is dead.

[130][Angry Bull] Rage of Lu
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Adriana in Portus (F8).
2. Start a combat mission ("Rage of Lu", 10 minutes) in Portus (I6).
• Defeat Lu (human).
• Tip: Lu becomes stronger when he kills Adriana or her soldiers.
3. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
4. Start a combat mission ("Mad Lu", 5 minutes) in Frourio (E9).
• Reduce Lu (human) to 10% HP.
• Note: As his HP reduces, he becomes more aggressive.
5. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
6. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8) again.

[130][Angry Bull] War of Supremacy
 Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Lu in River of Fire (A7).
2. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
3. Kill Queentula x2 in Queentula Suppression (Extra) mission.
• In v30.47.40, you can also get the kill count by using Queentula Spinelle, which is sold by Katherine in Ustiur Base Camp (F5) for 80,000,000 vis each.
4. Talk to Lu in River of Fire (A7).
5. Collect Thick Brawn x50, Thick Wolf Meat x50, and Thick Comodo Meat x50.
• These items are acquired in Ustiur Farm mission by killing the respective wild animals or by using Mixture Lv.1-2.
6. Talk to Lu in River of Fire (A7) to give the above items.
7. Collect Laviabe Meat (quest item) x1 by killing Laviabe (10%) in Camellia Teia.
• Laviabe is a demon mini-boss that usually appears in the area near the entrance to Snowfield of the Ice Wizard.
• In v30.47.40, you can also acquire the quest item by using Laviabe Spinelle, which is sold by Katherine in Ustiur Base Camp (F5) for 30,000,000 vis each.
8. Talk to Lu in River of Fire (A7) to give the above items.
9. Collect Garim Meat (quest item) x3 by killing Garim (100%) in Nest of Garim (Extra) mission.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.
Reward: Lu Character Card.

1. Talk to Lu in River of Fire (A7) to give Garim Meat (quest item) x3.
2. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
3. Start a combat mission ("Qualification Test", 20 minutes) in River of Fire (A7/B7).
• Defeat Yuuzan (demon) and Okutum (demon). Lu will help you.
• Tip: Each of them gains a buff to absorb a certain type of damage (melee, shooting, or magic) until the other is dead. They can also inflict Shock status.
4. Talk to Lu in River of Fire (A7).
5. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
6. Talk to Lu in River of Fire (A7) for reward.
