Recruit Coa: Snake Girl

Snake Girl quests were added in v29.79.16. Coa is also known as CoA (Europe) or Koa (USA). This guide is based on USA client v29.99.94. See Patch Notes for later changes (if any).

You will need to give the following items:

• Blue Armonium Ore x5
• Chocolate x5
• Great Bristia Style Egg Stew x1
• Great Illier Style Wild Boar Steak x1
• Great Illier Style Wolf Steak x1
• Great Illier Style Comodo Steak x1
• High Quality Cloth x500
• Old Journal 1 x100
• Old Journal 2 x100
• Old Journal 3 x100

You will need to kill monsters in the following maps:

• Camellia Teia
• Armonia Latina
• River of Fire
• Bonavista River or Rion Plain
• Prison de Joaquin Altar of Despair
• Shelter of Resistance
• [Optional] Bahama Marshlands, Swamp of Darkness, Swamp of Eternity, or Swamp of Peril

[130][Snake Girl] Prey
Prerequisites: None.

1. Receive quest mail by moving to Frourio with Half-Eaten Meat Piece (quest item) in inventory.
• The quest item is dropped by monsters in Camellia Teia. It is dropped on the ground, so you need to pick it up.
2. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the quest item.
3. Collect Laviosa Haunch (quest item) x500 by killing Laviosa (50%) in Camellia Teia.
4. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the above items.
5. Collect Lavioso Forehock (quest item) x500 by killing Lavioso (50%) in Camellia Teia.
6. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the above items.

[130][Snake Girl] Pursuit of Hunter
Prerequisites: Completed the quests above.

1. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
2. Start a quest dialogue in Camellia Teia (I11).
3. Start a quest dialogue in Camellia Teia (F5).
4. Start a quest dialogue in Camellia Teia (B3).
5. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
6. Start a quest dialogue in Camellia Teia (I11).
7. Start a quest dialogue in Camellia Teia (F5).
8. Start a combat mission ("Collapsed Coa", 10 minutes) in Camellia Teia (B3).
• Defeat Coa (human).
• Tip: In this mission, Coa has low RES. Magic attackers work well.

Prerequisites: Completed the quests above.

1. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
2. Talk to Olga in Frourio (H4).
3. Collect Blue Armonium Ore x5. 
• Priest Joel in Armonia Cathedral (F7) can refine Red Armonium Ores (a roulette reward in various Armonia missions like Priest of Fear) into blue ones.
4. Talk to Olga in Frourio (H4) to give the above items.
5. Collect Bone Powder of Armonia Wolf (quest item) x550 by killing Armonia Wolf (100%) in Armonia Latina.
6. Talk to Olga in Frourio (H4) to give the above items.
7. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8) to start a combat mission ("Logic of Power", 10 minutes).
• Defeat Coa (human).
• Tip: Various soldiers will help you. Let them tank first, while you buff up.
• Tip: If your attackers die too often, consider using Protection Field skill with Emilia.
• Tip: Her Magic RES is very high. Consider using melee/shooting characters if magic characters do not work out for you.

Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Start a quest dialogue in River of Fire (K9).
2. Kill Flava x350 in River of Fire.
3. Kill Flicky x350 in River of Fire.
4. Talk to Coa in River of Fire (C5).
5. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
6. Collect Chocolate x5. Lisa in Port of Coimbra (G9) sells them for 180 Vis each.
7. Talk to Coa in River of Fire (C5) to give the above items.
8. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
9. Collect Great Bristia Style Egg Stew x1.
• Diary Analyst in Abertal (D8) trades the recipe for Old Journal 3 x35.
• The recipe needs Great Cockatrice Egg x30, Clear Rum x20, Red Leaf of Rafflesia x5, Yellow Leaf of Rafflesia x5, and Green Leaf of Rafflesia x5.
• You can also use the event version of the dish instead by trading Dish (1 hour) Ticket to Master Guardian.
10. Talk to Coa in River of Fire (C5) to give the above item.

[130][Snake Girl] Negotiation: Food
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
2. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8).
3. Collect Great Illier Style Wild Boar Steak x1, Great Illier Style Wolf Steak x1, and Great Illier Style Comodo Steak x1.
• You need Old Journal 1 x105 to trade the Diary Analyst for the 3 recipes.
• The 3 recipes require a total of Thick Comodo Meat x30, Thick Wolf Meat x30, Thick Brawn x30, Honey x60, Clear Rum x30, Beet x30, and Cook Stone x3.
• As in the previous quest, event version works as well.
4. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the above items.
5. Collect Leg Prickle of Ancient Golden Spider (quest item) x880 by killing Ancient Golden Spider (100%) in Camellia Teia.
• Good spots for spiders are E7 and F5.
6. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the above items.
7. Collect Bright Egg of Giant Cockatrice (quest item) x3 by killing Giant Cockatrice (50%) in Bonavista River or Rion Plain.
8. Talk to Panfilo in Frourio (I8) to give the above items.

[130][Snake Girl] Negotiation: Clothes
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
2. Talk to Karjalainen in City of Auch (G5).
3. Collect High Quality Cloth x500.
• You can buy them from Textile Merchant Taylor in Port of Coimbra (J5) for 42,300 Vis each.
4. Talk to Karjalainen in City of Auch (G5) to give the above items.
5. Collect Tough Thread Piece of Flua (quest item) x450 by killing Flua (100%) in River of Fire.
6. Talk to Karjalainen in City of Auch (G5) to give the above items.
7. Collect Armor Piece of Jabberwock Captain (quest item) x2 by killing Jabberwock Captain (100%) in Prison de Joaquin Altar of Despair.
• This monster boss respawns in about 30 minutes.
8. Talk to Karjalainen in City of Auch (G5) to give the above items.

[130][Snake Girl] Negotiation: Education
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.

1. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).
2. Talk to Commander Cano in Frourio (D4).
3. Collect Old Journal 1 x100, Old Journal 2 x100, and Old Journal 3 x100.
• These items are dropped by monsters in Abertal, Via Fluvial, and Deprimida Valley.
4. Talk to Commander Cano in Frourio (D4) to give the above items.
5. Collect Dark Ink (quest item) x500 by killing Resistance Buchholz (100%), Resistance Mullen (100%), or Resistance Quamen (100%) in Shelter of Resistance.
6. Talk to Commander Cano in Frourio (D4) to give the above items.
7. Collect Frogfish's Sharp Claw (quest item) x5 by killing Swamp Frogfish (100%) in Bahama Marshlands, Swamp of Darkness, Swamp of Eternity, or Swamp of Peril.
• You can also buy Frogfish Spinelle for 900,000 Vis from Katherine in Ustiur Base Camp (E5).
8. Talk to Commander Cano in Frourio (D4) to give the above items.
9. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8).

[130][Snake Girl] A Fight Against Coa
Prerequisites: Completed the quest above.
Reward: (a) Coa Character Card, Legacy of Bonos (gaiters costume) x1, Legacy of Kanoporr (knuckle costume) x1; (b) White Gold Bar x20.

1. Talk to Watcher of the Stars in River of Fire (D2).
2. Talk to Coa in River of Fire (C5) to start a combat mission ("Proof", 10 minutes).
• Defeat Coa (human).
• Tip: Bring Emilia to use Protection Field on all characters as Coa does not stay aggravated at a tank well.
• Tip: Coa can inflict Paralysis Poison (Movement Speed -20%, ATK Speed -20%, Casting Time +10%) status.
3. Talk to Watcher of the Stars in River of Fire (D2) for reward (a).
4. Talk to Leona in Frourio (I8) for reward (b).
