Time Piece - Arbremon

Introduced in v9.5, all Time Piece (aka Time Paradox) missions come in 2 versions - normal and broken. You can select which type in the room creation window. Broken Time Piece mission is easier, but rewards less crystals from its roulette.

This raid mission is mainly for collecting Strata Devil Weapon materials and for making Evil Weapons (ATK Rating 34) - gaiters or knuckle. (There is no Evil Rosario.)

The following monster statistics are from Broken Time Paradox (v18.07.08). Bosses and mini-bosses in (Normal) Time Paradox tend to have more hit points (about 30-40% more) and ATK/DEF Rating.

It is also needed for Piece of Arbremon (quest item) in Recruit Ion quests. You must be alive and near the boss when he dies to acquire the quest item.

Mission Information
Location: Viron (E7)
Frequency: 2/day
Duration: 60 minutes
Participants: 1-12
Entry Cost: Free (1/day), 200 Shiny Crystals (2/day)
Requirement: Must have [Time Crystal] Arbremon quest to receive roulette reward

In v23.63.43, you can redo the mission by paying 200 Shiny Crystals. The maximum number of participants for Time Piece missions was reduced from 24 to 12.

A tank is recommended. Fire attackers (e.g. Ludin) are preferred as damage dealers, due to the high DEF and non-fire RES of the boss. If shooters are used, crossbow-users are preferred. It will be good to have Lisa to debuff the boss as well. [Whole Cancellation] is not really needed. Include one wizard team in the squad, only if the tank is having difficulties with enemy skills.

A. Start Point
The mission begins here. Buff up before moving to area B.

B. Angry Kumba
Tank goes up and provoke the monsters. Kill the Garden Monkeys first. After that, click on Machine Device to activate Angry Kumba. This martial arts bear has a green gauge bar. When it is full, it will move very fast and change target to one of its attackers. Stop attacking when the bar is almost full, and let the tank secure its hostility first before resuming. At 50% HP, it will summon a mob of Little Kumbas. Use [Protection Field] on the tank, if needed.

Garden Monkey • Lv.125 Wildlife • Soft Armor • None • Small
HP 6,378,750 • ATK Rating 70 • ATK 26,100 • DEF Rating 70 • DEF 253
Penetration 50 • Magic Penetration - Fire 0, Ice 0, Lightning 0, Mental 0
Immunity 0 • RES - Fire 35, Ice 59, Lightning 59, Mental 59

Angry Kumba • Lv.130 Wildlife • Light Armor • None • Medium
HP 40,572,000 • ATK Rating 73 (76) • ATK 112,860 (146,718) • DEF Rating 70 • DEF 355 (375)
Penetration 150 • Magic Penetration - Fire 0, Ice 0, Lightning 0, Mental 0
Immunity 0 • RES - Fire 55, Ice 90, Lightning 78, Mental 98

Little Kumba • Lv.120 Wildlife • Light Armor • None • Medium
HP 720,720 • ATK Rating 67 • ATK 45,360 • DEF Rating 63 • DEF 330
Penetration 60 • Magic Penetration - Fire 0, Ice 0, Lightning 0, Mental 0
Immunity 0 • RES - Fire 35, Ice 78, Lightning 58, Mental 78

If you lure Kumba to another area, the Little Kumbas will still appear at area B. However, they will move towards the other area, and then attack. This mini-boss can be inflicted with [Shock] status. Damage dealers should keep to normal attacks, as skills may cause damage delays due to monster animation. When it is about to die, a zone notice will announce it becoming more powerful (buffed statistics are denoted in brackets above).

C. Mutated Mantara & Arbremon
Kill the Garden Monkeys before moving up to Mutated Mantara. This mini-boss cannot move, but it has a super-long range attack. The tank should go to the fountain and provoke, so that Mutated Mantara face northwards. Use [Protection Field] on tank, if needed. Damage dealers can then move up to attack.

Mutated Mantara • Lv.135 Wildlife • Heavy Armor • None • Medium
HP 34,347,600 • ATK Rating 73 • ATK 244,822 • DEF Rating 70 • DEF 294
Penetration 100 • Magic Penetration - Fire 0, Ice 0, Lightning 0, Mental 0
Immunity 40 • RES - Fire 50, Ice 90, Lightning 90, Mental 95

When Mutated Mantara dies, a zone notice will announce: Mantara has withered and Arbremon wakes up. Angry Arbremon will appear on Mutated Mantara's spot. It has an area damage skill, but most attackers should be able to stay outside of the area. (See screenshot above.) This boss can also receive [Shock] status, but its rate is lower than others in this mission. As before, if the tank needs re-buffs, use [Protection Field] on the buffer first.

Angry Arbremon • Lv.135 Wildlife • Heavy Armor • None • Medium
HP 48,659,100 • ATK Rating 75 • ATK 355,725 • DEF Rating 70 • DEF 387
Penetration 130 • Magic Penetration - Fire 0, Ice 0, Lightning 0, Mental 0
Immunity 50 • RES - Fire 50, Ice 89, Lightning 89, Mental 99

Little Arbremon • Lv.125 Wildlife • Heavy Armor • None • Medium
HP 2,551,499 • ATK Rating 66 • ATK 211,410 • DEF Rating 66 • DEF 217
Penetration 80 • Magic Penetration - Fire 0, Ice 0, Lightning 0, Mental 0
Immunity 0 • RES - Fire 45, Ice 85, Lightning 85, Mental 60

When reduced to about 50% hit points, a zone notice will announce: Arbremon is shrieking. The Little Arbremons from area B will activate and start moving over to this area. There are 2 ways to deal with them.

The tank can simply provoke them together with Angry Arbremon. To do so, the tank must move back to the south, so as to intercept the mobs as they come northwards. This means the damage dealers have to move to attack from the east/west.

Alternatively, the squad can send someone over to area B to drag them away. The Little Arbremons move slowly, so the assigned family can hit all of them to make sure he has become their target, then run quickly out of their provoke range (e.g. use Red Lollipop). Otherwise, he can also provoke all of them, and then just die. If nobody else is nearby, the Little Arbremons will just stop and stay there.

In v24.62.02, Angry Arbremon is leashed to his spot. You may no longer lure him more than 25m away.

Reward
Angry Arbremon may drop White Gold Bars, Lv.92/96/100/Veteran Enchantment Chips, Lv.92 Elite Equipment, Le Noir, Pieces of Naraka, and 1-3 of each Arbremon's Strata Devil Weapon materials (e.g. Resin of Arbremon, Seed of Arbremon). The roulette will spin immediately upon the death of the boss for players with [Time Crystal] Arbremon quest. Bonus roulette costs 1,500,000 Vis.

Roulette Reward Broken Normal Rate
Portable Ancient Star Orb Box (10,000) 1 1 1.5%
Time Crystal: Arbremon 1 1-3 5.5%
Time Crystal: Arbremon 2 4-5 92.0%
Time Crystal: Arbremon 3 6-7 1.0%

In v23.63.43, the boss drops only 1-5 Seed, Leaf, and Resin of Arbremon. Once the boss is dead, roulette chest will appear where the boss first appears. Broken Time Piece mission rewards 1-4 Time Crystals, while normal Time Piece mission rewards 2-8 Time Crystals. Portable Ancient Star Orb Box has also been removed from the roulette. The amount of Time Crystals required to make Evil Weapon has been reduced from 600 to 150. Bonus roulette still costs 1,500,000 Vis.

  1. For soloing, you can use tank + Ludin + Cath Summoner. You can rebuff during Mantara by moving the DPS/Buffer away first, then followed by the tank. When Arbremon shrieks to summon the minis, use the tank to drag him to the top end at F3/G3.
